Production Line Manager - IT Hardware

Essential requirements:

• Excellent command of the English Language
  Deliver under pressure
  Target driven
  5 year work experience computer hardware workshop
  A+ and any other IT qualification
  Team management skills or managerial experience

A performance basic of + performance bonus (negotiable)
Plan and manage the production line to efficiently & effectively meet its targets. Generate products from redundant inventories.

The duties will include but not limited to:

Management

• Manage all production & order delivery staff (Plan, Monitors, control & discipline).
  Manage targets for order completion
  Chairman technical meetings fortnightly
  Manage the team leaders have update meetings fortnightly
  Ensure adherence to ISO9001:2008 Policies and Procedures
  Schedule Annual Leave for staff
  Conflict resolution for clients and technical team members
  Have monthly scorecard meetings with team leaders and staff
  Facilitate and manage developments and improvements in the workshop environments

Administration

• Approve leave applications
  Record daily metrics for the workshop
  Prepare all paperwork for drivers when dispatching orders
  Process Over Time forms
  Overseas all CRO’s
  Update stock lists
  Call couriers for shipping quotes
  Coach staff

 

Production

• Oversee production and planning
  Manage the consolidation of components to saleable PC’s
  Ordering components  needed for productions from local distributors
  Ordering workshop supplies stock
  Monitor stock levels of peripherals etc.

 Technical

• Server and network management
  Technical advisory for technical staff
  Providing telephonic technical support to clients where needed

Bookkeeper

Duties may include but not limited to :-

• Implement and maintain (simple & clear filing systems with labelling & indexing)
  Full Bookkeeping  responsibilites
  Reconciliations x 2 bank accounts
  Keep debtor accounts up to date on a daily basis & end statements.
  Track creditors accounts & make monthly payments
  Written correspondence & monthly reporting
  Manage petty cash
  Management accounts
  Experience of FINCON  accounting software
  With external accountant / Auditor
